What is a Postpartum Doula?

 

The simplest way to describe what I do is from the world’s leading doula organization, DONA International: A Postpartum Doula is “a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.”
